Michelle graduated from Utah Valley University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology as well as completing the Substance Use Disorder program in 2013.  She has been working as a licensed SUDC in the recovery community since 2014. Michelle graduated in 2020 from the University of Phoenix with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and has continued working with individuals in recovery as well as with primary mental health concerns.

Michelle’s goal is to walk with an individual through their personal journey of growth and self-discovery as they find their way to meeting their objectives for improved mental health and well-being. She is skilled in working with individuals experiencing the adverse impact of trauma, abuse, addiction, and loss. She utilizes evidence-based practices to create a safe and effective space for healing and recovery, including CPT, CBT, ART,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems.

In her downtime, Michelle enjoys spending time with family, biking, walking her dogs, working in the yard, and listening to music.
