Brooke Splain is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She received her bachelor’s degree at the University of Utah with a focus in business and marketing. After a successful career in sales and marketing for over 25 years and many life experiences, she decided to return to school to fulfill her dream of becoming a mental health counselor. She completed her Master of Science in Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The University of Phoenix College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.
Brooke loves connecting with various groups of people. She believes that nothing is more powerful than a therapeutic connection between a counselor and client that is based on trust, security, and honesty. Her approach is caring, yet honest. Her goal is to help clients feel safe to share their private affairs by drawing out things that need to be addressed in the most sensitive but approachable way. Brooke utilizes ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, Gottman, and Inner Child Experiential Psychotherapy in her work.
Areas of specific interest include: PTSD/Trauma, Couples Counseling, Inner Child Work, Substance Abuse & Addiction, Substance Recovery, Depression, Anxiety, Self-Esteem, and Grief & Loss.
